Emulation Times was originally founded by Mark in 1997 as one of the earliest dedicated emulation news sites on the web. For years it served as a daily source of emulation news, emulator listings, and preservation resources for the growing emulation community.

Mark passed away in 2022. This site has been revived by his son as a tribute to his memory and his passion for computers, emulation, and digital preservation. The goal is to carry on what he started — keeping track of emulators, covering emulation news, and now expanding into a broader archive and preservation platform.
